Lyndsey has worked as a nurse for the past 25 years, qualifying as an SRN in 1982 having trained at the Luton and Dunstable hospital. Experience in several specialised fields followed including ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), Dental Arterial surgery and Oncology.
She moved into a GP setting in 1989 working as a practice nurse for 8 years. Following further training she worked for the next 7 years developing her skills as a Nurse Practitioner which enabled Lyndsey to diagnose as well as treat patients independently. In this role she also helped in the training of practice nurses to become nurse practitioners in General Practice.
Lyndsey has an extended prescribing qualification, which allows her to prescribe medication following strict guidelines.
