Practice Nurse
 
 

Sue trained as a nurse at Leicester , qualifying as a Registered General Nurse in 1984.

Sue's first post following qualifications was as a staff nurse at Milton Keynes General Hospital , working in the Intensive Care and Coronary Care Unit. After 15 months, she moved into the community to work as a community RGN. She trained at Nene College Northampton to gain her District Nurse qualification in 1987. After 4 years as a District Nursing sister, she worked as a Marie Curie nurse before deciding to move into General Practice in 1992. Sue has subsequently worked in a number of Practices in the Milton Keynes area before moving to The Village Medical Centre when it opened in 2004.

Sue has a wealth of practical experience in all aspects of Practice Nursing. In addition, she has continued her professional development in areas such as Marie Curie Cervical Cytology, Diabetes, Nurse Prescribing, Coronary Heart Disease & the Counterweight programme.

Sue is the Lead CHD nurse at TVMC.
