Dr Anu George qualified from Southampton Medical School in 1999 with the intention of pursuing a career in General Practice. She worked in hospitals in Southampton and Portsmouth before taking up GP training in her home town of Eastbourne. During this period she successfully completed the full complement of postgraduate GP examinations.
Anu moved to Bedford in 2003 to join a busy surgery in the heart of Bedford town. In 2005 she was successful in being appointed at The Village Medical Centre, attracted by the progressive approach to patient care and the prospect of working in a dynamic environment.
