Karen previously worked for the Milton Keynes Primary Care Trust as an IT officer providing 1st and 2nd line support to the Primary Care Trust and General Practices.
Her role involved visiting various sites throughout Milton Keynes to provide software, hardware and user support. She was also responsible for designing, maintaining and publishing the training materials for the Trust.

Karen is currently working as the Patient Support Manager at The Village Medical Centre and responsible for the Patient Support Team including the day to day running of the Patient Support area.

Karen has attended the following training since joining the team back in November 2004, Basic Life Support, FiSh (Administrator), Vision, a 4 day Patient Support Skills workshop, open learning (Managing the Practice), a 4 day Management course and Adobe Photoshop skills.

Karen is also currently studying sign-language and an AMSPAR course on practice management.
