Pauline has worked for the NHS for 11 years, initially in the Cambridgeshire area where she was a secretary to the consultants in several directorates. She then moved to Bedford where she worked for Dr Thangarajah, Care for the Elderly at Bedford General Hospital. Other employment in the NHS involved working for Operational Manager within Beds and Shires, working for Director of Patient Services in Bedford and Luton Community Trust, before moving to be a secretary to the Community Consultant for Paediatricians at Bedford Heights, a short spell working as PA to Consultant Oncology within Bedford Health Authority, also worked in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team in Rush Court.
Further experience includes Secretary to Child Protection Manager at Bedford PCT, and secretary to District Services Nursing Manager.
In November 2004 Pauline commenced work at The Village Medical Centre where she is one of the Patient Support Secretaries. Since joining the team Pauline has attended a number of courses which will help to enhance her role.
