We have access to counselling through several avenues.
NHS Provided via referral to Bedford Primary Care Trust:
Short term (maximum 6 to 8 sessions) for a wide variety of problems, after an initial assessment and agreement session. The quality of the service is very high however the service is over subscribed and therefore rationed.
Private by Sue Gray
Availability:
On site at Great Denham. Sue has a wide experience in many areas, including Relationships, Couple counselling and Workplace related issues. A variety of styles of working may be employed including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Availability:
Psychotheraputic counselling off site near Bedford Town Centre. Julie has
experience of working with both short term & open ended models in many areas
including: bereavement and loss, trauma, depression , anxiety and
relationship issues. A variety of working styles maybe employed.
